Quality over Quantity

I’m so delighted to assist the return of the trend for Made-to-Measure handcrafted products.

A new generation of consumers is looking for customized, well-made clothes with individuality.

The Custom-made garments well worth the cost: first, because of their superior materials (non available in mass-production of “pronto-moda”) and skillful construction. Moreover, their classic style is Timeless.

This means fever clothes, but of better quality.

Couture clothes are often seen as a luxury, but are actually worth every cent.

The truly extravagant, from other hand, is to consume cheap items and discard them after a few times.

…Historically, couture has always done well in times of recession ( let’s look to the 1930’s Great Depression Era), showing that “…whilst fashion inextricably bound up with culture, the way it influences and is influenced by the History , what on the surface seems completely illogical, is in fact the most rational thing in the World.”

In these difficult modern times, knowledgeable consumers would rather buy one outfit a year, but still commission investment pieces and appreciate the amount of labor and skill that goes into the manufacture of Custom apparel. “Needless to say they can choose what really suits and flatters their physique and can creatively customize their wardrobes by building up useful unique pieces…to wear with pride”.
